2007 was a blessed year for me...

went to Asian Terminals to lubricate the cranes!!! I swear, when i got up there, it felt so surreal -- i NEVER imagined that i would be doing such kind of job...

7 things that Shell made me do (that i never thought of doing before):

One. Made me wear a shirt jack! ugh, so not me... i look like a constru! no offense meant...

Two. Made me drink 16 San Mig Light all in one night!!! (curse corporate politics!!!)

Three. Made fun of my colored hair -- God! they don't appreciate good color like true ash blonde or deep irridiscent red! all they know is that i look like a kid from subic or the "tubig poso" guy!

Four. Made me buy stocks and mutual funds!!! Woohoo!!! go GMA 7!!! i own less than one percent of that company! lol!

Five:  Made me go to Samar... who goes to Samar? let alone a project site that's 3 hours away from civilization!

Six. Made me understand a car -- like how to do change oil, change tires, check the radiator, EVERYTHING about a car!!!

and lastly Seven: Made me realize that i can do just about anything and everything... *wink*Ü

i'm off to the piers this morning... to go on top of a port crane -- yup! have to lubricate the cranes... will take lotsa pix! funny, i'm excited about it...Ü

before everything gets crazy, i'm thankful for the following:

looking back, i thought i was through last year... almost thinking of ending my life (SO glad somebody slapped me!)... but everything worked out for the best... for my life's bestÜ

things are looking bright on my 24th year on this complicated life of mine... here's to more adventures and challenges!  yeah, life is good... so bring it on bitch!

on other stuff... i've never felt so poor... well, coz the peso's so strong, most of my savings got tied up in my dollar account...so in order for me to make my investment stable -- i bought dollars at a low price to offset the effects...

gggrrrrrrr... i want to shop again... i wanna buy new shoes, new pants, new tyler stuff and oakley crosshair!!! ggrrrrr!!!!

okay... now about my career... wahahahaha... i'm so thankful!!! it turned out i came out top 2 sales manÜ weener! nothing beats hard work and lots of charms, of course!

i swear, i'll beat 'em all!!! by hook, by crook or by any book!

and im just getting started...*wink*

ugh, but i don't think i can sustain this... i can't be in sales for a long time...i hope they put me in marketing again... or a career in finance doesn't sound that bad either... wehehehe

first of course is the SHELL Commercial Business Forum... which *ahem* we won first place!!! galing sobra! but at the same time a big pressure cooker for me coz next year, it'll be me who'll take the lead...

then there's this crazy hat party!!! super fun night!!! went as brokeback cowboy! wehehe... joke! doesn't gerry look like Mr. Shuli??? wehehehe







then off to the Pinoy Dream Academy Grand Finals!!! hahaha... too bad i didn't have time to prepare a giant streamer cheering for YENG!!! yey! she won! and panky didn't! hehehe... thanks to Dylan for the tickets (and the extra ones!!! i owe u! wehehe)... thanks to Jaz and JD for coming with me! mwah!



afterwards was Gov time!!! =)... hehehe, as part of jigs mayuga's entourage! "to the left to the left"... shux, would've loved to stay (lotsa cute there that night) but i was SUPER tired already (next time, promise! *wink*)... hehehe... but was really glad to see all of the L'Oreal people again (especially Jill, Dia, Lyra, Jigs, Barbs, Criscy and Gay) -- wait, sila lahat un eh! wehehehe



then off to Taytay for Myrose's concert!!! hahaha, in fairness, i enjoyed myself, even if the service lasted for 2 freaking hours... plus we ate at this authentic Taytay resto, Bahay Kawayan... hehehe, loved the inihaw liempo! thanks my!!! perfect way to end my weekend...
